If you do not complete a course of treatment with the practice, after a period of 4 weeks from your last appointment and if no further appointments are scheduled, the course of treatment will be deemed to be complete. This may affect the charges under the NHS system when you return for further treatment.
If you are a private patient of the practice, and you are unable to keep an appointment, you must let us know as soon as possible. The practice may make a charge for an appointment that was missed or cancelled without 24 hours’ notice. The current charge is £10 per 10 minute of appointment time. For both NHS and private patients, your treatment plan will be discussed with you and a written record will be given.
Methods of payment
You will be asked to pay in advance for treatments. An estimate of the cost of proposed treatment will be provided at your examination appointment, and the prices given are valid for 6 months. If the treatment plan changes due to your wishes or due to unexpected findings during the course of treatment, we will give you an updated treatment plan.
Payments are accepted by cash and by major credit and debit cards.
