Tooth Whitening 

Your teeth will naturally discolour with age, but tea, coffee, wine and smoking can also cause further discolouration. Pannal Dental Clinic uses 360 whitening, a tooth whitening procedure designed to lighten your teeth from within, whilst simultaneously removing surface stains. The unique gel breaks down to form oxygen ions that safely penetrate deep into your teeth achieving a brighter, whiter smile.

  • How do I get my teeth whitened?

    The teeth whitening cosmetic treatment involves taking impressions of your teeth, which will then be sent to a laboratory to create soft, flexible bespoke trays. You will be able to choose between our day formula for an hour a day, or we have an over-night formula which works while you sleep. 

    Patients will fill the tooth whitening trays with a small quantity of our dual action 360 whitening gel which lightens your teeth from within while simultaneously removing surface stains. 



  • When can I see a difference following my teeth whitening procedure?

    Following the 360 teeth whitening procedure, most patients will start to see a difference within a few days. It may take around 2-3 weeks before you reach your desired whiteness. 

  • How can I maintain the whiteness of my teeth following treatment?

    Patients can maintain the whiteness of their teeth by using their home prescribed tooth whitening kit. 

  • Who is eligible to carry out the tooth whitening 360 treatment?

    Only registered dental professionals are legally allowed to carry out the 360 whitening cosmetic treatment. This ensures the process is safe, effective and comfortable. We would strongly advise patients to avoid treatments by non-dental professionals as they could cause permanent damage to your gums and teeth.

Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are a cosmetic treatment designed to improve the appearance of cracked, chipped, broken or discoloured teeth. Veneers are made of either porcelain or composite and are permanently bonded over the surface of the tooth to hide imperfections. Veneers from dentists have excellent stain resistance and require very little maintenance. Unlike dental crowns, which may involve the removal of large amounts of healthy enamel, there is minimal tooth preparation required with veneer implantation.

  • What is the process for a veneer cosmetic treatment?

    The treatment process for veneers is very straightforward:

    • The tooth is prepared by removing a small amount of the enamel surface to ensure successful veneer implantation. 
    • Your dentist will then take an impression of your tooth to ensure the veneer is a perfect fit. 
    • The colour of the surrounding teeth is also matched to the veneer to ensure it looks completely natural. 
    • Once the veneer has been made, the veneer will be bonded to your tooth using special adhesive to create a permanent fix. 

  • How long does the veneer preparation process take?

    You will normally require two visits to Pannal Dental Clinic to carry out this cosmetic treatment. During your first visit, your dentist will prepare the tooth, and in your second visit, the veneer will be fitted. 

  • How do I maintain my veneer following treatment?

    Make sure you brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste for at least two minutes to help keep your veneer in good shape.
